Dismantling of microwave antennas at three locations
We recently received a technically challenging assignment: Microwave antennas that were no longer needed at several locations had to be dismantled for structural reasons. Using a crane at these locations would have been extremely difficult, partly due to the lack of access roads and the need to cut back trees.
The solution: dismantling by means of a ‘fixed rope’ from the air. The old plant components were safely dismantled and transported away at great heights with the aid of a helicopter. Thanks to the excellent cooperation with our partner HTM, the project was implemented quickly and safely. The accompanying video offers an exciting insight into the operation – it's worth taking a look!
